Inactivity Alert in Timeforemost

Inactivity alerts notify teams of downtime, helping improve time management and ensure continuous productivity.

What are inactivity alerts and what are they for?

Inactivity alerts in a work time tracking app are a key tool for monitoring productivity and efficient time use. These alerts notify employees and supervisors when extended periods of inactivity are detected, helping to identify potential disruptions, improve time management, and ensure that projects progress as planned. Additionally, they help optimize resources and adjust work strategies to maintain a continuous workflow and avoid unnecessary time losses.

Some TimeForemost Idle or Productivity Alerts

The following alerts help prevent equipment downtime and improve productivity and focus.

Idle Time Alert

This alert appears to the user based on the inactivity time configured for them, which can be 5, 10, or 15 minutes after no mouse or keyboard activity.

Goal Extra Mile Notice

This achievement appears once the user completes their Goal within 80% of the estimated time and completion.

Overdue Goal Status

This status appears when a Goal exceeds its estimated time, pausing the user to notify them that the budget has been surpassed and asking if they want to continue working on it.

Current or Active Goal

This is the normal and default state of any Goal, and it changes color (red, silver, or gold) depending on its status during the user's activity.
